DENGUE HEMORRHAGIC FEVER AND
SHOCK SYNDROME

Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever and Shock Syndrome occurs when a person catches a different type of Dengue virus after they were already infection by another one sometime before that.
 
Symptoms of Dengue Hemmorrhagic Fever and Shock Syndrome are the same as Dengue Fever, but in addition, the person will become irritable, restless and sweaty after several days. Following those symptoms, the person will go into a shock-like state and possibly death.

Treatment of Dengue Hemmorrhagic Fever and Shock Syndrome consists of a transfusion of fresh blood to correct bleeding problems, intravenous to correct electrolyte imbalances and oxygen therapy to treat low blood oxygen.

There is no vaccine developed as of yet to prevent this horrible disease.
